“The initial inspiration for stand, March, RISE!! came from what is known as the Women’s March, which took place on January 21, 2017. On this day, peoples from across United States and the greater world beyond it gathered together in completely peaceful demonstrations to give voice to segments of the population who were not counted as strongly as others.
